Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has assured the residents of Kerio Valley of the government’s commitment to end banditry in the area. During his visit to Iten town, where he presided over the launch of various empowerment projects in Keiyo North Constituency, Gachagua emphasized that the government will fulfill its promise to deal with the banditry menace once and for all. He condemned the loss of lives to bandits and stated that it would no longer be acceptable for people to suffer from such attacks.
Gachagua further expressed the Kenya Kwanza administration’s determination to eradicate the use of illegal firearms in the region and put an end to cattle rustling in Kerio Valley. He assured the residents that the guns have gone silent and will remain silent forever, indicating the government’s commitment to restoring peace and security.
