Landlady evicts tenant for changing women every week

A tense situation unfolded in a village in Wakiso district when a determined landlady, Cristine Nampera, took a stand against her tenant, Kiiza Daudi Kayongo, over his alleged history of physically abusing and dumping women. The latest incident involved Aisha Namikisa, a woman who had recently returned from Saudi Arabia and was allegedly mistreated and starved by Kayongo.

According to the landlady, Kayongo had established a pattern of bringing women to the residence, only to subject them to physical abuse and eventually abandon them. She claimed that Kayongo had previously driven out another woman from the same residence, and she was determined to put an end to his abusive behavior.

Aisha, the latest victim, alleged that Kayongo had failed to provide for her basic needs, including food, and would often leave home without returning until late. When she confronted him about his behavior, he responded by packing her belongings and throwing her out of the room.

Seeking help, Aisha turned to the area women’s affairs representative, who happened to be the landlady herself. The landlady, having witnessed Kayongo’s behavior before, was resolute in her decision to evict him from the premises.

Despite Kayongo’s denials of neglecting to provide food, the landlady stood firm, citing the pattern of abuse and mistreatment of women. She ordered him to vacate the premises within two days without paying rent, sending a strong message that such behavior would not be tolerated in the community.
